Lunch & Learn - P. R. Tips from Local Newspapers

When promoting your business, it’s important to remember that outstanding public relations opportunities exist right here in Northbrook. At this informative program, representatives from the three Northbrook publications, the Northbrook Star, Triblocal (part of the Chicago Tribune) and What’s Happening! Newspaper will give pointers and suggestions on how to place information in their print and on-line publications. The tips will include guidelines on the type of news covered, basic information to include in a press release, publication deadlines, and how to target your news to the different editions. There will be brief presentations from each publication with plenty of time for questions and answers.
