For 49 years, our family-owned and operated restaurant has welcomed guests with an enriched ambiance, delicious food, and excellent service. Overlooking the Des Plaines River, Allgauer's offers a spacious and idyllic backdrop for events, celebrations or an everyday dinner out. Our menu offers a wide selection of options with each dish prepared in-house from scratch. We welcome you to dine in-house, on our patio (weather permitting), or to order for pickup and delivery! We are open daily for breakfast 7:00-10:00am, dinner 4:00-9:00 p.m., and 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sundays for brunch.
