Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales and Marketing to lead our sales and marketing efforts. This role is critical in driving business growth through effective strategy development, execution, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and business development, with a proven ability to analyze market trends and negotiate successful deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary Sales Counselor, providing tours and marketing brochures as requested.
- Together with the sales and marketing team, develop and implement all aspects of the sales and marketing plan, including conducting and coordinating lead management, delivering sales presentations, community networking, and managing the advertising and media plan.
- Perform all sales closings and execution of contracts and paperwork.
- Manage all resident transfer and refund requests according to policy, under the direction of the CEO.
- Generate qualified leads to achieve or exceed occupancy goals through an effective sales and community outreach program.
- Establish strong referral relationships and network with the community at large.
- Assist in planning and executing networking events to engage key partners and referral sources.
- Update Eldermark software with all contacts made with prospective and future residents.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Three years of demonstrated experience in driving sales and achieving results, in senior living industry preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organizational skills, resident relations, problem-solving, and leadership ability.
- Ability to present self in a professional manner, display genuine concern for elderly, and maintain tact in dealing with others.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word.
