Women in Business Luncheon

This month's Women in Business Networking Luncheon features guest speaker Katie Fitzgerald, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Feeding America. A new resident of Northbrook, she will share stories from her professional background in non-profit management.  Attendees will also have the opportunity for informal networking and individual introductions while enjoying a delicious lunch at Trattoria Oliverii's outdoor dining tent.  For this unique opportunity, men are welcome to attend. Space is limited.
 
Over four decades, Feeding America has grown into the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization. Its network of 200 food banks across the country feeds 40 million people at risk of hunger, including 12 million children and 7 million seniors. Katie Fitzgerald leads the implementation of Feeding America’s strategy, working hand in hand with member food banks and other key partners.  She has spent her career in the nonprofit sector, working to improve outcomes for vulnerable children, youth and families. Prior to Feeding America, she served in leadership positions for many organizations including the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, Make-a-Wish Oklahoma, the Center for Children and Families in Norman, Oklahoma, and more. Katie earned her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Michigan. She and her family moved to Northbrook in July 2021.
