Maximize Your Chamber Membership
Whether a long standing member or relatively new to the organization, it can be a challenge to keep up with the wealth of valuable benefits available through the Chamber. At this informative session, members will learn how to take advantage of the powerful features of the Members Only section of the Chamber website, as well as many of the other promotional and marketing opportunities, many available at no cost. The Chamber staff will give a hands-on demonstration of how the website can be a valuable resource tool. Instructions will be given on how to log onto the Members Only portal in order to do the following:
- Update your Chamber member records
- Post a special offer or promotion as a Hot Deal
- Search for businesses and their contacts
- Search for individuals in the Chamber database
- Register for events
- Update keywords to improve a website search
Helpful tips about how to better generate referrals with your website listing will be discussed as well as publicity opportunities available in the Chamber newsletter, the monthly e-mail blast E-Announcements, and the Chamber's Facebook page. There will also be an overview of banner ads as a marketing tool on the Chamber website. Members are invited to bring their laptops to follow along with the demonstration and are encouraged to know or set up their Username and Password. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers.
