22nd Annual Auction & Taste

The Chamber is pleased to present this year’s magnificent Auction and Taste, featuring a lively silent and live auction along with fabulous fare from some of the area’s finest restaurants.  Over 400 Chamber members, community leaders and guests are expected at this annual event which is an  important fundraiser for the Chamber.  With a festive fall theme, the gala event will include a chance to bid on valuable items donated by area businesses, while mixing and mingling with guests in the beautiful Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel ballroom.  Popular items at the Auction include everything from golf foursomes and overnight hotel stays, to restaurant certificates and  theater tickets.  Every year guests engage in friendly competition to be the winning bidder on coveted items.
    A highlight of the night will be the Live Auction, conducted by local legend Ron Bernardi, Sunset Foods,  who always energizes the crowd,  generating lots of excitement about bidding on items and helping the Chamber.   The Live Auction will feature a complete LASIK eye surgery package as well as  tickets to an upcoming Bulls game, a gourmet Thanksgiving dinner for 12, a golf package for four at Sportsman’s, hard to obtain Blackhawks tickets and other exciting items.  In addition to an opportunity to bid on these and other valuable items, raffle tickets offer a chance to win $1,000.
