Long Term Land Leasing: Throughout most of the 20th century, the Society of the Divine Word cultivated its land, providing food for the members of the Order, the seminarians who studied at Techny, and the students who attended the primary school there. Today, Techny Land Corporation continues to use the land to support the Society's work throughout the world, leasing the land on long term land leases to developers who construct residential, retail, commercial and office projects, and then working with property managers once developments are complete.
