The Northbrook Public Library welcomes you to enjoy its rich collections, inviting space, and helpful staff. In addition to books, music, movies, and videogames, we offer access to current technologies and opportunities for learning, one-on-one mentoring, and valuable online databases that can provide you with a wealth of data to help grow your business. With meeting rooms, computers, laptops, copiers, scanners, wireless printers, and free Wi-Fi, we make it easy for you to work or study in the library. If you need to build a prototype, you can use the tools and expert assistance available in our makerspace, the Collaboratory, including 3D scanners and printers, a laser cutter, desktop carving machine, soldering equipment, and more. You can also visit the Peltz Digital Media Lab in the Collaboratory to create and edit music and video and digitize media. Between our vast collection of books and media, innovative tools and technologies, and the many free programs and hands-on learning opportunities we provide, over 300,000 residents of Northbrook and surrounding communities visited us last year.
