About Us

The Northbrook Public Library welcomes you to enjoy its rich collections, inviting space, and helpful staff. Besides offering a vast collection of books and media, the library provides innovative tools and technologies, programs, and opportunities for research and learning. Learning opportunities include hands-on instructor-led learning, one-on-one mentoring, and valuable online databases that can provide you with a wealth of data to help grow your business.

With meeting rooms, computers, laptops, copiers, scanners, wireless printers, and free WiFi, the library makes a great place to work or study. If you need to build a prototype, you can use the tools and expert assistance available in our makerspace, the Collaboratory, including 3D scanners and printers, a laser cutter, desktop carving machine, soldering equipment, and more. You can also visit the Peltz Digital Media Lab in the Collaboratory to create and edit music and video and digitize media. Please visit www.northbrook.info to check the library's current hours and information.
