Job Description

LONG TERM EMPLOYMENT ONLY, THIS IS NOT A SEASONAL JOB.

BEFORE APPLYING, you must be available Tuesday and Thursday Evenings (typical shift is 12pm-7pm; this is flexible, the shift can start later) and one Saturday a month. The Saturday shift is 7am-12pm and 4pm-7pm (you will work both shifts on your given Saturday). Additional weekday shifts available if you are interested in more hours. 

MUST LOVE DOGS

Candidates must have customer service experience and the following qualities

  • Effective Listening
  • Attentiveness
  • Patience
  • Self-control
  • Clear communication skills
  • Ability to use ‘positive language’
  • Persuasive speaking skills
  • Time management
  • Taking responsibility
  • Willingness to improve

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Greeting customers
  • Answering phones
  • Making reservations
  • Booking new dog evaluations
  • Check-in/out daycare dogs
  • Check-in/out boarding dogs
  • Handling dogs
  • Creating boarding sheets
  • Feeding boarding dogs
