Our dynamic Youth Services team is looking for a new member to assist with programming. We need someone with creative ideas to guide children and teens in memorable experiences.
Create, plan and execute STEM programs for children and young adults. Assist department staff in maintaining services related to technology such as iPads, makey makey kits, arduinos, and web content. Learn new technologies and develop library programs that engage children and young adults. Work in collaboration with a dynamic team of Youth Services librarians to develop and maintain programs, services and volunteer opportunities for our patrons.
Current in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) for children and young adults. Strong oral and written communication skills, technology skills, and ability to connect with young people. Experience working with children and/or experience guiding small groups a plus. Ability to use technology to schedule, organize and delight is essential. Ability to work collaboratively with others and be able to adapt to changing work situations and job requirements.
