An all-inclusive\, non-stop afternoon of fun\, golfers are treated to an outstanding day that includes a chance to play 18 holes of golf at Sportsman's Country Club. For the third year in a row\, costs for individual golfers or for a foursome will remain the same.\n\n\n\nIn addition to a best ball scramble tournament\, the event includes skills contests\, a chance to mix and mingle with business and civic leaders\, non-stop snacks and beverages\, a cocktail hour and dinner. Exceptional golf skills are not required\, just a desire to come out and have fun.\n\n\n\nGolfers will have a chance to play on the course which has been recognized by both Golf Magazine and Golf Digest with top awards for course upgrades. Whether a veteran golfer at Chamber outings\, or new to the organization\, you won't want to miss out on the fun and excitement of this important fundraiser\, which includes fabulous golf\, fantastic food\, raffle prizes\, awards and an outstanding day of camaraderie.\n\n\n\nThe golf package includes:\n\n Putting Contest with chance to win $200\n\n 18 holes "best ball" scramble format\n\n delicious lunch prior to tee-off\n\n greens fees and golf cart\n\n snacks\, beer and soda on the course\n\n contests and prizes on every hole\n\n post-play cocktails\, appetizers & dinner at Marcellos\n\n awards for best play\n\n valuable raffle prizes\n\n\n\nNot a golfer? Cocktails & Dinner at Marcello's!\n\n\n\nAfter coming off the course\, golfers will make a short trip down the road to Marcello's in downtown Northbrook for a Cocktail Reception and Dinner. The new\, spacious location for the post-play festivities offers a fun setting for winding up the day\, without any worries about inclement weather. Once they arrive\, golfers will be treated to cocktails and appetizers\, followed by a delicious dinner featuring several of Marcello's signature dishes. Winners of the scramble tournament and skills contests will be announced along with raffle prizes. A live music performance along with a pictorial recap of the day will make for a fun conclusion to the Outing. All activities\, food and drink at Marcello's are included with golf registration. Guests are welcomed to join in on the fun by registering for the dinner.\n\n\n\nHole Sponsorships Drive Outing Success\n\n\n\nOne of the highlights of the Outing is the fun provided at each hole by the sponsors with Golfers looking forward to the skills contests and interacting with sponsor representatives. Hole sponsorships offer terrific hands-on marketing opportunities for Chamber members with a chance to promote a new or familiar product or service. Many sponsors and their staff enjoy being stationed at their hole\, meeting and greeting all the golfers and handing out product samples or giveaways. However\, sponsors are not obligated to be present at the Outing. The Chamber does the legwork\, setting up the skills contest\, providing signage on the hole\, and awarding a $50 gift certificate as a prize for the contest. Sponsors receive valuable exposure with a listing on the Chamber website\, signage at the event\, and recognition in the event program.
